Chain Resources offers qualified and experienced HSE Advisors and Safety Observers to help industry manage their HSE requirements on their facilities. Managing and demonstrating HSE in the workplace is a legal requirement; it is also good business practice and provides a safe workplace for personnel.

An important part of managing HSE is ensuring that trained, competent and experienced personnel are available in the workplace. Chain Resources HSE Advisors and Safety Observers understand industry requirements and are aware of their responsibility to keep the client’s focus on safety paramount in the minds of all those associated with that environment.

Health and Safety is an integral part of business and shows a commitment by industry leaders to their staff’s wellbeing and health. Chain Resources would like to be a part of that commitment.

PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS

HSE Advisors: will hold or be working towards achieving Level 3 and or 4 National Occupational Health & Safety Certificate

Safety Observers: will hold a minimum Unit Standards as follows:
US 3271 Use hand fire extinguishers & fixed hose reel
US 6400 Manage first aid in emergency situations.
US 6401 Provide first aid.
US 6402 Provide resuscitation
US 17596 Safety observer responsibilities in the workplace
US 17602 Apply hazard ID & risk Assessment procedures
US 18426 Hazards associated with confined space
US 19522 Undertake job safety analysis
US 3058 or 25510 Operate an atmospheric testing device

Individual Certificates and Competencies are available for all personnel.
Additional Unit Standards can be achieved at client’s request.
